Matariki Research Ethics Workshop

This workshop, which will be hosted at the Queen’s campus in the UK, is jointly sponsored by Queen’s University and the Wiley journal Bioethics, the official publication of the International Association of Bioethics.
The workshop will explore the recent revisions made to two influential international research ethics guidance documents, the World Medical Association’s Declaration of Helsinki and the Council for International Organisations of Medical Sciences International Ethical Guidelines for Health-related Research Involving Humans. The two-fold objectives of the workshop are to analyse both the role as well as the substance of these two ethical guidance documents. A special issue of the journal Bioethics is planned, with a deadline for paper submissions in November 2017.
