From 2 to 3 June 2016 Thomas Diez and colleagues at the Institute of Political Science, University of Tübingen, hosted colleagues from the University of Western Australia for a joint workshop on “ASEAN and the EU: Regions in Crisis”. For two days the eight participants discussed ASEAN and the EU as regional organisations, their potential as foreign policy actors and the impacts of economic and political crisis situations on these organisations.
