On May 30th / 31st (New Zealand), 2023 Matariki Leadership Programme delegates came together for their final session. The last session was a panel chaired by Shannon Hill from Queen’s University and featured the following panellists: Durham – Joanne Race (Director of Human Resources & Organisation Development), Otago – David Thomson (Director of Strategy, Analytics, and Reporting), Queen’s – Sultan AlMajil (Director, Queen’s International Centre). The panel discussed their own experiences and insight on fulfilling their leadership positions, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic and now in the post-pandemic world. We extend a huge ‘Thank you!’ to the panellists for their time as well as to all of the speakers who participated in the 2023 Matariki Leadership Programme.
The panel event marked the final time in which the 2023 Leadership cohort came together after a series of successful online meetings. However, we look forward to future Matariki Leadership Programme alumni events where we may all see each other once again.
