International & European Studies short-term programs
Tübingen’s short-term programs in International & European Studies offer students from all over the world a chance to study Europe and the European Union from the unique vantage point of one of Germany’s most prestigious universities, situated at the heart of Europe. The programs are taught entirely in English and provide the possibility of obtaining course credit.
Research Internship – A unique 8-week intensive research training programme. It provides an opportunity for high-performing international students, who are considering a UWA postgraduate degree, to get an insider’s look at the University’s research specialities, meet and work with a potential future supervisor and experience the richness of Australian culture.
Research Skills Fundamentals – This 3-week unit provides research skills training to equip students with the fundamentals to conduct research. Through a range of feature talks focusing on global issues, students are exposed to the theory and practice of research across different disciplines. Interactive workshops develop students’ information literacy, writing and communication skills, and introduce them to the principles of ethical research conduct. The unit facilitates cultural exchange and understanding, and provides the opportunity for students to learn beyond the boundaries of their own institution and country. On completion of the unit, students are well equipped to participate in research projects or the UWA Research Internship programme.
A limited number of free places are available for students from Matariki partners institutions. Please contact Jerline Chen for more information.
