The University of Otago has appointed Professor Helen Nicholson as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (External Engagement). This is a new role that will oversee a newly created Division of External Engagement. The Division comprises Marketing & Communications, International Division, and Development & Alumni Relations. The decision to bring these areas into this single Division is in line with the strategic direction of the University to focus on strong external engagement.
