International collaboration heats up antifreeze research

Professor Peter Davies from Queen’s and Dr Craig Marshall from Otago are collaborating to improve the production of natural antifreeze proteins, a project which has made some promising strides recently. The collaboration started during a research visit by Peter Davies to Otago, and has continued with a reciprocal visit by Craig Marshall to Queen’s, an exchange facilitated by the two institutions’ membership of the Matariki Network.
