Sociology Professor Denise Anthony has accepted a four-year appointment as vice provost for academic initiatives, beginning October 1, announced Provost Carolyn Dever. As vice provost, Anthony is responsible for a broad portfolio of activities that support and advance academic excellence throughout Dartmouth, including oversight of international programs and initiatives.
