Dartmouth’s Jeremy Rutter Receives Honorary Degree from Uppsala

Archaeologist Jeremy Rutter, the Sherman Fairchild Professor Emeritus in the Humanities and professor emeritus of classical studies at Dartmouth College, received an honorary doctorate from Uppsala University last month. The degree recognizes Rutter, who is an expert in Bronze Age Minoan and Mycenaean pottery, for his contributions to archaeology over his long career and his mentorship of more than two generations of scholars.
