In December 2017, UWA hosted a successful 2-day workshop on Marine Extremes to highlight current research in the field and to explore opportunities for collaboration across the Matariki Network within 3 main themes:
- Safe Oceans
- Healthy Oceans
- Wealth from the Oceans
